History was made when sign-ups for the featured titles at Evo 2024 closed this past Monday, June 24. Last year, the event brought in a total of 9,221 unique competitors between the games in the main lineup, breaking multiple all-time registration records in the process. Show us your passion for fighting games at Evo's 2023 cosplay contest! Our contest is open to all characters that appear in fighting games (please see rules below for details) and all skill levels. Craftsmanship and accuracy are highly valued in our contest, but are not the only ways to make yourself stand out! Did you utilize a unique and interesting construction technique? Evo 2023 Breaks Multiple All-time Registration Records

Expectations were shattered last Sunday night as competitor registration for Evo 2023 came to a close. Two weeks ago, the event’s Street Fighter 6 bracket became the largest open-bracket fighting game tournament in Evo history, surpassing the record of 5,107 previously held by Street Fighter V’s debut at Evo 2016. Several other games followed suit, setting new franchise registration records in the final days of sign-ups. Now that the numbers are finalized, we can confirm that Evo 2023 will officially have the most bracket competitors ever at an Evo event.
