HUNTERxHUNTER: NENxIMPACT kicked off the Evo Showcase in a big way. We got our first look at the next character, Meruem, and the opening movie for the game. HUNTERxHUNTER fans are in for a real treat for the pure attention to detail from the Bushiroad and 8ing teams.

For new initiates, we got an overview of the game’s various features and mechanics. HUNTERxHUNTER: NENxIMPACT is a 3v3 2D fighting game in the world of the hit anime and manga series. There is no shortage of options; tools are abundant for players available, thanks to the variety of characters and movesets.

Next, we got a HUNTERxHUNTER: NENxIMPACT eight-player exhibition featuring Justin Wong and Tasty Steve as commentators. Eight high-level players competed in a showcase tournament to go up against Justin Wong in a final Exhibition. SUPERNOON, NITRONY, DEKILLSAGE, COACH STEVE, DIAPHONE, ZANE, CLOUD805, and LORD KNIGHT went head to head to show off all the game’s features in high-octane competition, giving those anticipating the game an in-depth look at what the characters and systems are capable of. While each player put forth a valiant effort, DIAPHONE took the Grand Finals against SUPERNOON to face off against Justin Wong. Check out the complete exhibition below!

Evo 2024 attendees can play HUNTERxHUNTER: NENxIMPACT at the Arc System Works booth. This year, the convention is open all three days of the event, so there’s plenty of time to enjoy the game!
